AEGPL President Ramon de Luis Serrano: "AEGPL Congress 2013 will be very special”

AEGPL President Ramón de Luis Serrano has highlighted how much he is looking forward to welcoming participants from across the world to this year’s event.

“When AEGPL and WLPGA bring their Congress and Forum together, the result is very special in terms of the number of people and the quality of speakers at the conference. We saw in Madrid in 2010, which I was proud to be involved in as both President of WLPGA and CEO of Repsol Butano, that the level of interest from all sectors of the industry is unparalleled.”

Mr. De Luis Serrano continued “London is the ideal location for this event, as it has strong links with so many parts of the world – it’s the biggest city in Europe, and is all one of the globe’s major financial centres. With the LP Gas industry being equally global in its reach and its outlook, I think this event will be absolutely fantastic.”

AEGPL’s General Manager Samuel Maubanc echoed these comments “The combined event will offer great value to participants with both the exhibition and the conference showing the best that LP Gas has to offer. I think the attendance will be record-breaking”

Indeed, with the number of exhibiting companies now more than 120 and the expected participants to reach more than 3,000, the LP Gas industry will probably see its biggest event ever take place.  This year’s conference programme offers a number of highlights including keynote addresses from UK Climate Change Committee Chair Lord Deben and Dr. Kandeh Chief Executive Officer of the UN sustainability for All initiative. Sessions that cover all aspects of the LP Gas markets from upstream to autogas to specific sessions aimed at developed and developing markets, the event will offer something for everyone.
